Who is NICS?
Hi, I'm Nicole, Creator of NICS.
I have always been passionate about all types of crafts – papercraft, cooking, sewing, decorating, photography, gardening are all a big part of my life. I am by no means an expert – but I love all of it! I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2005 by my neighbour who gave me an album for a wedding present - as you can imagine this opened up a whole new concept of craft and paper and of course – a new crafting addiction!
Over the past few years the internet has opened up the world of papercraft with techniques, styles, products and so much crafty goodness.
Having worked in retail and management for the past 20 years, I have decided to bring my experience and passion for retailing and papercraft together creating NICS, soon to be providing online product sales, inspiration and ‘in-home’ classes where you can get your friends together in your home or mine for some crafty inspiration, crops & classes. (Bookings essential)
For the personalised touch I have been making cards to order and Invitations for Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings and a number of other occasions. I am happy to discuss individual requests, please contact me through the "contacts" page for personalised service.
NICS will be a place to find Inspiration, sharing ideas from designers and creators and creating a space where crafty friends can come together and ‘play’ or ‘learn’ new skills. I will build my inventory to always be in supply of basic items and keeping up to date with latest paper designs and trends.
There are so many amazing Designers and Creators out there that provide inspiration and I look forward to sharing this with you - feeding your paper and craft addictions. Enjoy your crafting journey – whether you are new to papercraft or experienced, whether you have developed your own style or just love to experiment - there is always something else out there to play with.
